Life is full of shit, sometimes you just need a break from what you're doing. Escape from your routines and hectic life to find serenity. Go to the beach, staying at a resort for just a day to get away from the hustle and bustle of city. Breathe the smell of the warm sea breeze; hear the sound of the splashing waves and seagulls; enjoy the soft sand, squishing it between your toes. You can also go to the pool to refresh your body and mind. Just take time to relax and not think about life for a moment, surround yourself with people who make you feel happiest. That's my kind of "sweet escape."
We had planned few days before to celebrate her birthday after we attended our church Christmas celebration in Bogor. So right after we were out of the church, we were looking for the nearest bakery to buy a birthday cake. Turned out the nearest bakery was also a cafe. So we decided to buy a cake and celebrate her birthday there.
First post in 2017.
We've been already in 2017 about two weeks, i just finished my final exams so i just had time to write this post. There's a lot of memes on the internet say 2016 was a terrible year, but honestly for me 2016 was meh, okay. Not my year, but it wasn't so bad though. I started 2017 with a grateful heart and believe 2017 will be more than okay, 2017 is gonna be so much greater than 2016. I've set a lot of goals for my life that i hope i can reach this year. Also there's a lot of story i wanna share with you guys on this blog. The best is yet to come. Stay with me
It's the most wonderful time of the year, indeed. A day full of joy and happiness. Presents, cookies, Christmas tree, decorations, foods, all is well, all is perfect. But sometimes we just focus about the festive celebrations, and forget about the true meaning of Christmas. We often forget about Him who had came from heaven becoming a human being to save all of our lives. Christ is the true meaning of Christmas (that's why it's called Christmas, because without Christ, it's just a mas). So have you thanked Him today? We don't need to do a lot of things or take a lot of time to thank Him, we can take just less than five minutes to pray, as our gratitude for what He has done. You know, He has gave His entire life at the cross so we can live, but why can't we give a little time to thank Him? However i hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas. Cheers!
I love Sundays. It's the one day of the week where you can stay in bed all day without any guilt (unless you live with really strict parents). There are two options you can choose: A) Wake up super late because you were wide awake all Saturday night, or B) Wake up super early on Sunday morning. I usually do A, but wake up early on Sunday is a pleasure too. Beside you can see sun rises, your Sunday will be felt a little longer. In fact, rising early brings some benefits to you (*note to self). However, I always make sure to use this day to recharge, surround myself with my favorite things, and of course enjoy some me time, before going back to the hectic campus life on Monday.
Trends come and go, but the versatility of white shirt is perpetual. And there’s something incredible about the simplicity of a white shirt and jeans. Perhaps it has to do with the easiness of the look and the effortlessness. The white shirt and jeans look remains a classic. Both items are two of my closet's big guns, and together, they look so fresh and so clean.
