As I mentioned on the previous post, we were having dinner at Henshin while we stayed at The Westin Jakarta. If you are staying at The Westin Jakarta, Henshin restaurant & bar is something that you don't want to miss. Even if you don't stay at The Westin you still can come to have dinner at the restaurant or chilling at the bar.

   Henshin is located on the very top, from level 67-69 of Gama Tower, probably the highest in Indonesia. Henshin is decided to three areas, the bar and lounge area on the 67th floor, the main restaurant on the 68th floor, and a private room on the 69th floor. There are two private rooms provided: for 12 people and for 20 people.

   The rooftop bar usually has outdoor area open for visitors but it was closed due to the pandemic, so we couldn't go to the bar. But it's okay. From the bar to the restaurant you can walk through the stairs. This staircase is also very iconic because the window facing the city view. The restaurant also offers a very romantic and classy dining room with 360 degree views over Jakarta.

   The combination of Peruvian and Japanese specialties is a very unique concept raised at Henshin. This fine-dining restaurant features Peruvian-Japanese fusion cuisine prepared by Chef Hajime Kasuga and his professional team. They serve a la carte options and quality set menus. Henshin also serves signature menus using Nikkei gastronomic techniques. Nikkei means a Japanese born overseas. This technique is a food processing that makes science to create food ingredients.
