After visiting Wat Arun and cruising back to our bus, our tour guide brought us to Al Meroz hotel to had lunch. There were Muslims in our group so to respect them we had halal food. Al Meroz Hotel is knowingly as a 4-stars Muslim friendly hotel. They claim as Bangkok’s leading halal hotel. When we arrived, we could see the building stands out with a golden dome that characterizes Islamic architecture.

Entering the hotel lobby, modern Middle Eastern style was clearly seen in their interior design. The spacious lobby was centered on sturdy pillars of dark brown painted wood accented with lights designed to emit golden rays. Partitions in each room gave a special ethnic touch, as well as the chandeliers and furniture that complement its elegant look.

We had buffet at Diwan Restaurant at Al Meroz hotel. It is all-day family dining restaurant in a non-alcoholic environment. They offered various Halal-certified cuisine, from Arabian, Thai, and regional delicacies cooked by professional chefs. Overall we were really satisfied with the food and the service.
